Web Development

     Web development includes creating a concept for, designing, and coding a website. In layman's terms, it's making a website. The reason I break it down like this is because some "web guys" only do one portion of the work while someone else does the other. For example, one person may come up with the design, another create the design, and yet another write the code for it. I do it all, a full web development service.

Domain Name Configuration

    A domain name in the simplest terms is "www.yournamehere.com".   Domain name configuration is the setting up of that domain. This is separate from the web development. When I set up your domain, basically I order the domain name, register it, and configure it to link to your hosting account.

Hosting Setup

    Your "hosting" is the server where the files for your website are stored. The domain name is linked to your hosting account in order for people to access your website. I set up your hosting, configure it to the proper settings for your needs, and upload all of your website files onto it.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

    Once you have a website, you are going to want search engines to be able to find it. I optimize your website to be search engine friendly. This is a very important step for any website. Without it, it will be very hard for people to find you on the web.

    *Usually, all of the above are included in a web development package unless the client requests otherwise. I simply broke it down for those who are are not familiar with the subject.

Blog Setup

    A blog or "web log" is somewhat like an online journal (for more information, click here). Blogs are becoming more and more popular these days, and I am starting to see more websites going to blog format than traditional. I offer services to do everything you need to get your blog up and rolling. Note: This service is separate from my traditional web development package.

Multimedia Packages

    I offer services for putting together picture and video slideshows. These make nice gifts wonderful for special occasion parties such as weddings, anniversaries, graduations, etc. An example slideshow would be the story of one's life through pictures, video, or a mixture of both. This is typically accompanied with background music of your choice.
